Having thrown the weight of her substantial endorsement behind The Biggest Loser, Michelle Obama is now attempting to portray her stance as a health-based metric rather than a weight-based metric. But The Biggest Loser has a long and well-documented history of pushing weight loss by whatever means necessary. For Mrs. Obama to appear on this hateful, unhealthy show, she has undermined any and all credibility she has on the issue of health and nutrition. And I, for one, am not about to let her recast herself as a proponent of moderation.
